The Department of Housing and Urban Development's Continuum of Care (CoC) Program is a community-wide approach to helping people (including unaccompanied youth) experiencing homelessness by providing the services they need to move into transitional and permanent housing. The CoC is designed to promote community-wide planning and strategic use of resources, improve coordination and integration, improve data collection and performance measurement, and allow each community to tailor its program to its unique strengths and challenges. Applications are due January 18, 2012
