KU’s Center on Online Learning and Students with Disabilities has developed a new tool to help schools and others involved in education identify online products that are accessible for students with disabilities.

The tool, Access for All Students: A Representative Sampling of Technologies Employed in K-12 Online Education, lists products that are frequently used in schools and identifies those for which accessibility information is readily available.

Condensed Curriculum International, est 1993 in association with Pearson Education has online healthcare courses for national certification by students. Many Contract Training Programs of colleges partner with CCI and have done so for many years. Al;so, taking one of these courses while in high school reduces the dropout rate dramatically. These courses are useful in Dual Enrollment Programs. Jobs are plentiful in the healthcare field. Sidney B. Gilman, Reg.Pharm. President Link: www.condensedcurriculum.com
