The Department of Education has identified nearly $29 million in funding to support the “Innovative Approaches to Literacy” program.

The Department announced it is seeking applications under this program with an August 10 deadline for submission.

This program supports high-quality programs designed to develop and improve literacy skills for children and students from birth through 12th grade within the attendance boundaries of high-need local educational agencies (LEAs) and schools
