Visit OnGuardOnline.gov for resources on how to be safe, secure and responsible online

Posted by Maisha Meminger - On June 14, 2012 (EST)

OnGuardOnline.gov was created through a partnership of 16 federal agencies led by the Federal Trade Commission; it’s a great source of free information for your home, school, community group, or workplace.

OnGuardOnline’s new features include a cybersecurity blog and information updates via e-mail. Also, the FTC has partnered with the Department of Homeland Security and other agencies in the Stop.Think.Connect Campaign to raise awareness of the need for stronger cybersecurity with new approaches to help increase online safety and security.

The new OnGuardOnline blog offers cybersecurity news from around the government, how-to articles and videos, and insights from federal officials. Check back regularly for updates, or sign up to get an e-mail when a new post is up.

The Federal Trade Commission works for consumers to prevent fraudulent, deceptive, and unfair business practices and to provide information to help spot, stop, and avoid them.
